This workshop brings together experts in dynamics, algebra, and particle physics, and aims to explore themes at the confluence of these areas. Particular topics of interest include the design of mathematical languages to describe and understand physical phenomena on all scales, as well as algebraic and algorithmic aspects of discrete and continuous dynamical systems.
Speakers include Laurent Bartholdi, Tobias Boege, Hadleigh Frost, Philipp Hieronymi, Clemens Hofstadler, Toghrul Karimov, Laura Kovàcs, Ronald van Luijk, Andreas von Manteuffel, Marc Mezzarobba, Yulia Mukhina, Matteo Parisi, Emre Sertöz, Moritz Weber, Maximilian Wiesmann, Timo de Wolff, and Stanley Yao Xiao. The workshop will take place at the Max Planck Institute for Software Systems in Saarbrücken, Germany, from 15 to 17 October 2025.
The workshop organisers are Johannes Henn (MPI for Physics), Joël Ouaknine (MPI for Software Systems), and Bernd Sturmfels (MPI for Mathematics in the Sciences).
